Andy Veilleux Named President & CEO of Guelph Chamber of Commerce

The Board of Directors of the Guelph Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Andy Veilleux has been named the new President & CEO, effective January 21, 2025.

Andy was selected after an extensive search that yielded many impressive candidates.  “The process was thoughtful and thorough to ensure we selected a candidate that can help renew our strategic plan, lead the Chamber through our growth goals, and support the great work our Chamber is already doing” says Curtis Tomlinson, Chair of the Board of Directors.

Coming from his role as Director of Policy & Government Relations at the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce, Andy has successfully enabled business success through his advocacy and policy work.  “Andy’s experience as an innovative leader coupled with his chamber experience make him an excellent leader for the organization and community. I’m looking forward to his creative vision and him leading the team to continue to help businesses in our network be their best” says Tomlinson.

Andy has extensive experience in policy and advocacy, business development, and holds an MBA.  As a long-time member and employee of chambers throughout the province, Andy has first-hand experience of the importance local businesses have on their communities, and the value and power of the chamber network.
