Agri-tech Trailblazer to Address “Inspirational Women” Luncheon

On November 29th, the Guelph Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Heffner Lexus, will host the “Inspirational Women” luncheon with Rose Marie Gage, a trailblazer, respected leader, change agent, mentor, coach and connector. Rose will be interviewed by Melanie Lang, Director of CBaSE, about her inspirational path to navigate opportunities and obstacles, resulting in influence, leadership, change and community building.
“The Inspirational Women luncheon is an integral and proven component of the Guelph Chamber’s efforts to showcase and help build leadership among women across Guelph through inspiring stories that cultivate success,” says Kithio Mwanzia, President & CEO of the Guelph Chamber of Commerce. “Hosting Rose Marie Gage, in partnership with Heffner Lexus, offers a fantastic opportunity for our community to hear how leadership can transform communities, businesses and lives.”
As current CEO of Ag-Energy Co-operative Ltd, a $50 million Canadian energy co-operative that serves Ontario with natural gas and energy solutions, Rose leads the co-operative with tenacity, drive and 30+ years of experience in strategy, risk mitigation, collaboration, execution and governance.
Rose’s dedication to her professional career and volunteer experiences has led her to recently being recognized by “Inspiring 50 Canada” for her support of change in STEM, by the Canadian Board Diversity Council as one of “Canada’s Diversity 50 appointments”. She also recently received the honour of Outstanding Director of the Year from the Director’s College, which is the gold standard of Canadian governance certification.
“Rose is a community champion and connector who has and continues to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, inspiring many in our community and beyond,” adds Mwanzia.
